Mar

Tierra, Mar and Aire aims to exemplify the necessary step towards circularity and the urgency of considering our relationship with the planet. A collection of luminaires 3D printed on a large scale with 100% recycled and recyclable bioplastics and plastics.

Mar speaks of the problem of pollution of our seas and oceans. In 2050 there will be more tons of plastic than fish in the sea. The luminaires are made from a Polypropylene composite formulated from 73-75% recycled fishing nets and reinforced with fiberglass. Inspired by the shells of sea urchins, these luminaires refer to the origin of the material in which they are made: recycled fishing nets.
